Standard qualitative tools measure sentiment using text alone which fails to capture the intensity of emotion and often produces a false signal.
Decodis maps voice signals to the precise moments in the transcript where those signals occur. Each passage of speech is analyzed against the words being spoken at that same moment. This preserves emotional specificity over time and surfaces responses that aggregate tools consistently miss. Dr. Collins holds a PhD in Public Policy from New York University and an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics. She is the author of Portfolios of the Poor (Princeton University Press), published in seven languages and recognized as a foundational text in household financial behavior research. She serves as Senior Advisor at the LEIR Institute at Tufts University, and previously served as CEO of BFA Global.

Over six years of conducting qualitative and quantitative research across consumer, financial, and health sectors, the company perfected analytical methods that existing tools could not support.
